Christensen Sweeps The First Two Rounds of the Winter Series

Finishing last year’s Lucas Oil Formula Car Racing Series as Vice Champion, Matt Christensen was out to prove that he was second to no one in the opening two rounds of the Lucas Oil Formula Car Winter Series.

With two lights out performances that saw him lead all but one of the 32 combined race laps, Matt delivered another all-star performance in the Lucas Oil Formula Car. Having been one of two competitors to record an event sweep in the 2020 season, Matt was clearly on-form to start the 2021 season.

Like many of his 2020 Lucas Oil Formula Car Series competitors who have signed on to begin their professional careers, Christensen signed with Jay Howard Driver Development to campaign the 2021 F4 U.S. Championship. If his early season form is any indicator of what lies ahead for the USF4 it should be a brilliant year for Matt and we are very excited to cheer he and his fellow 2020 classmates make their professional debut.
