We handle everything from logistics and car setup to coaching and hospitality. All you have to do is show up, climb in, and race. The Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series provides the convenience and level playing field that only arrive-and-drive racing can deliver.

Race Event Format

Day 1:Pre-Race Lapping – Three 30-minute sessions ,
followed by instructor feedback and data debrief
Day 2:Practice – 30 min.
Race 1 Qualifying – 20 min.
Race 1* – 30 min.
Day 3:Race 3 Qualifying – 20 min.
Race 2* – 30 min.
Race 3 – 30 min.

*Race 2 grid is determined by fastest lap during Race 1

2019 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series Prize
The Champion can select from one of the follow Career Achievement Awards:

$75,000 – Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship
$50,000 – F4 U.S. Championship
$25,000 – F1600, F2000, or other eligible race series, or use toward defending your Lucas Oil Formula Car Series championship.

Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series Driver Eligibility

Prior to participating in their first Race Series event, drivers must complete at least one (1) Advanced 2-Day program. We also accept previous experience from other racing school programs and recognize most competition licenses. Drivers must have completed their most recent qualifying activity within five (5) years of entering their first Race Event. Please contact us to determine your eligibility.

These requirements are general guidelines Any exceptions to these requirements is at the sole discretion of Lucas Oil School of Racing.
