Today Lucas Oil School of Racing announced that it has selected Group-A Racing to host the winner of the inaugural Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series for a day of testing as part of the series award package for its champion.
The champion will spend a day working with Group-A Racing and testing their choice of the team’s Tatuus USF-17 USF2000 car or their Crawford FIA Formula 4 car, at their winter base at MSR Houston in Texas, at a date to be announced.
“We are excited to be working with Group-A Racing to provide this opportunity to our champion,” noted Todd Snyder, COO of Lucas Oil School of Racing. “This is a great opportunity for our driver to experience the next level up in terms of horsepower and grip, and to take the things they’ve learned in our series and use them while working with a team in terms of feedback and car setup.”
“This is a tremendous feather in our cap,” said Group-A Racing team manager Jonathan Scarallo. “The Lucas Oil School of Racing has quickly become a leader in its industry and has nothing but the best people and partners around it. So, for them to choose us to be involved by doing their series champion’s test is a tremendous privilege and complement to our team. I look forward to having their inaugural series champion do their first test with us this winter, and hopefully many more series champions to follow.”
The Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series returns to the track November 11-13 at NOLA Motorsports Park in Louisiana. For more information on Group-A Racing go to www.GroupARacingTeam.com or call 631-974-4379.
