BasicPLUS Highlights

Our unique Basic+ Racing School features an accelerated, small-group format to get you up to speed – QUICKLY.

In this unique format, we provide you all of the critical need-to-know from our Basic Racing School to prepare you for full course open lapping over the remainder of the sessions.

This program successfully completed qualifies you for you SCCA Full Competition License.

Eligibility Requirements

Prior to participating in our Basic Racing School, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum driver height is 4 feet 11 inches (152cm)
  • Minimum Age 12 or YOUNGER Based on Experience and Approval - CALL an INSTRUCTOR for APPROVAL

A Life-Changing Experience

Our Basic Racing Course features two eight-hour days of instruction combined with 5 hours of on-track time get you acclimated with the art and science of driving a modern race car.

Plus you’ll go home with a complementary SD card with in-car video from your on-track sessions (not guaranteed). Available at many popular tracks around the country. Successful completion of our Basic Racing Course program qualifies you for your Lucas Oil Formula Car SERIES Competition LICENSE.  It also qualifies you for an SCCA Novice Permit (subject to SCCA age minimums) plus One Event credit towards your SCCA Full Competition License.
