How You Can Prepare
- BASIC CLASS ONLY – If you do not have any experience with a clutch, WE RECOMMEND you find a car with a manual transmission and practice starting the car moving forward in 1st gear. Our very first drill in the Basic and BasicPLUS is designed to teach clutch skills in our car to leave pit lane safely ! You only need the clutch for getting the car started out of pit lane. Once on track, you’ll use the paddle shifters to select gearing. You will also need to push the clutch pedal in prior to stopping the car in pit lane.Â
- If you are participating in Advanced Lapping, bring a personal laptop or USB 3.0 stick/drive if you wish to take your data
- Check the local weather forecast. We race rain or shine, hot or cold, so plan accordingly
