PREPARE FOR 2024 CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
What separates our four-race event Winter Series from everything else in the world is the preparation we provide all of our competitors with our renowned Race Schools beforehand. All drivers will spend the first day and a half either in our accelerated BasicPLUS Racing School or in our Advanced Racing School.
Our unique BasicPLUS Racing School format is the ultimate education for experienced karters making the transition into race cars. Relying on the skills learned in the junior categories, we quickly bring drivers up to speed with our race cars so they are prepared to spend the remainder of the week racing competitively.
Our Advanced Racing School will be familiar to those who have previously participated in our schools or race series. The open lapping format coupled with instruction and data analysis will aid in extracting every available tenth on the storied Homestead-Miami Speedway.
After all drivers have completed their initial six on-track sessions, drivers will then prepare for the race event itself that includes two 20-minute qualifying sessions and FOUR 30-minute races!

Arrival
- Please arrive at 8:00am on the first morning of the program
- Report to hospitality for check-in & to sign all necessary paperwork (waiver & crash damage policy)
- After checking in, enjoy the continental breakfast and get to know your fellow drivers until the drivers meeting

Equipment
We provide suits & helmets, however if you choose to bring your own gear, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Racing suits must be fireproof resistant; we highly recommend multi-layers with nomex or underwear
- No motorcycle or open face helmets
- Helmets must be Snell SA 2010 or newer
- Use of HANS device HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
- We do not provide HANS devices and our helmets are not HANS compatible
- If you don’t own racing shoes, wrestling shoes or narrow sneakers are a close substitute
- Leather gloves or mechanic’s gloves are acceptable if you don’t own racing gloves

Hospitality
- Continental breakfast, lunch, snacks & drinks are provided throughout the event (lunch is for one driver and ONE guest)
- Parents, family, and friends are all welcome to attend and are encouraged to sit in on classroom lectures if desired
How You Can Prepare
- BASIC CLASS ONLY – If you do not have any experience with a clutch, WE RECOMMEND you find a car with a manual transmission and practice starting the car moving forward in 1st gear. Our very first drill in the Basic and BasicPLUS is designed to teach clutch skills in our car to leave pit lane safely ! You only need the clutch for getting the car started out of pit lane. Once on track, you’ll use the paddle shifters to select gearing. You will also need to push the clutch pedal in prior to stopping the car in pit lane.
- If you are participating in Advanced Lapping, bring a personal laptop or USB 3.0 stick/drive if you wish to take your data
- Check the local weather forecast. We race rain or shine, hot or cold, so plan accordingly
